I drag the ancient
ant-infested treetrunk
to fire our hearth/harth
warm our bones,
bring sparkle reflections to our eyes
we take turns with bow-saw
weaving our honor
into a bronze shield of Defender
Protectors mutually knighted
to save the Grid-Bugs,
give them a home
